the reynolds fam is now in madison to set out to start a church where a good friend and fellow church planter is quoted saying “only Jesus himself could plant in madison”. as you may suppose, people are very important to the starting of a church, so one of our goals has been to get out in the community and make some friends.

we have enjoyed meeting our neighbors. the boys are making friends at school. we are enjoying learning our way around the city. i am happy to live in a city where “let’s go to the beach” is really an option.

for spencer’s birthday in august we went bowling. it was a first for the boys and they had a great time, despite sam’s disappointment with his low score. (although he quickly recovered when he learned that his 33 beat out his brother’s score of 32!) bowling has actually never been so much fun.

i am hoping this blog will be helpful for keeping in touch with all of our friends who may not live close but are right here with us on this journey, accompanying us in prayer and support. we are so grateful to get to do what we do.
