“the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. “

Unfailing love and faithfulness of our God sustains us in times of trouble and uncertainty. I have friends who endure one hardship after another. This has been a tough year for many. I would have to say that this year for us was full of lessons yet to be fully understood. I remember completing courses in college that seemed of no use other than fulfilling the requirement for credits needed to graduate. This year seems like that – steady…stay the course…not really seeing what will come out of it, but knowing that the best is yet to come.

I am grateful for a God who understands, call us His children and offers unfailing love and faithfulness, even when we fall way short. I am also very much enjoying the new friendships that have developed this year. That we have the opportunity to homeschool the boys has been a treat.

May your year be full of the unfailing love and faithfulness that only our God has in full. May the Word find a home in you this year, for all the days to come. Shalom.
